Closing the Racial Wealth Gap

The 2024 Presidential election was significant in many ways. One positive outcome was the increased visibility given to illegal immigration and the increasing racial wealth gap. These
two factors were, among others, instrumental in America’s decision. Taken alone, these factors appear to be detrimental to America’s progress but considered together they could become an economic force for the good – by reducing the wealth gap through
entrepreneurship offers a great deal of potential. Massachusetts is a case in point. With a population of close to 7 million residents and an economy reaching $638.3 billion annually, Massachusetts has one of the strongest economies in the United States. Massachusetts' GDP has grown at an annualized rate of 3.8% over the past five years, becoming the 12th largest among states.
